The Grounds - The Lake and Boathouse
The completely private four acre lake is surrounded by mature woodland, with a beautiful pathway running around the lake, a tranquil half hour walk.
In the Boathouse, the original Victorian rowing boat has been lovingly restored and in spring is brought onto the lake, as is an Indian canoe and a dingy for fishing. While away the hours gently rowing around the lake, home to a large collection of wild ducks.
In spring, the jetty has two loungers on it and is a perfect spot to watch the sun set over the lake with a glass or two of Champagne.
The Lake
