Although we don't host weddings, Gilpin Lodge is a perfect romantic retreat – with no conferences or small children (or weddings!) to disturb your tranquillity, the hotel is ideal for quiet escapes à deux.

We can arrange flowers, chocolate and Champagne to be in your room on arrival, for you to float through the skies together in a hot air balloon, for a trek on horseback through the National Park, perhaps a special cocktail before dinner or a celebratory cake to be presented with coffee later, or to simply advise you of a secluded walk where you can escape the multitudes. Please ask if you would like us to arrange anything – most things we are usually able to help with!

With private gardens and outdoor cedarwood hot tubs, sensual bathrooms and oodles of space, the Garden Suites In particular are ideal for guests who really don't want to venture out a great deal.
